Butter Lips
I got my first cold of the season last week and the first thing to get dry were my lips. I’ve tried everything; La Mer, Chapstick, Burts Bees, Blistex you name, I’ve tried it and I still woke up with super chapped lips. Like many people I follow the brilliant Eva Chen on every social media platform imaginable and she posted Neosporin Overnight Lip Treatment last week so I decided to give it a try.
$4 later and I am one happy camper! I went to bed and slathered on the creamy white ointment and woke up with lips softer than ever, or what I like to call, butter lips. It’s goopy and thick so that might dissuade many of you from trying it, but before you dismiss it you should try it. It is only $4 after all and you won’t be sorry.
Formulated with white petrolatum and cocoa butter (moisturizers); vitamin E and pyruvate (antioxidants) this balm soothes even the thirstiest of lips instantly. By morning, the thick residue is gone, as are flakes, cracks, and chapped spots.
