Leading Ladies

There were lots of amazing gowns from last night’s Oscar ceremony and many boring ones (Jen Aniston for example). My least favorite was Anne’s Prada gown. If I knew I were a shoe-in for an Oscar I’d step it up a notch. I couldn’t get over the bad darting and high neckline with that amazing Tiffany’s necklace. Also, the “It came true” bit at the beginning of her acceptance speech made me queasy.

And Kristen Stewart in Reem Acra….PLEASE brush your hair, stand-up straight and pop an SSRI to get your social awkwardness under control. Oh, and enough with the coke.

Now, while I liked Jennifer Lawrence’s blush Dior gown, it seemed too bridal-like. It also swallowed her up (hence the trip up the stairs?). I did go gaga for her silver Calvin Klein dress she wore to the Vanity Fair party.

Two things of note; Amanda must have been hiding a hickey because she sported 2 neck-covering numbers in the same night. Also, how GORGEOUS does Adele look with her hair down? Ditch the bouffant girl!
